3rd November 2014 to 6th March 2015, Mon-Fri 10am-4pm.
Hannah Maclure Centre, 1-3 Bell Street, Dundee DD1 1HP

Coded After Lovelace offers a survey of art that critically reflects on the creative use of technology, its development and limitations. From the room-sized computers of the Bell Labs era to the tablet-based work of today.

The exhibition seeks to bring greater visibility to the work of women artists who have often been left out of histories of art and technology. Coded After Lovelace also creates a new lineage across artists of different generations.

Artists include Bureau of Inverse Technology, Carla Gannis, Claudia Hart, Olia Lialina, Lorna Mills, Rosa Menkman, Lillian F Schwartz, Erica Scourti and Cornelia Sollfrank. Curated by Nora O’Murchu and Faith Holland.
