Markus Miessen is an architect, spatial consultant and writer, and one of the Edinburgh International Film Festival’s guest curators.

He will transform Inspace into, as he puts it, an “informally discursive social space, a hub for antagonistic debate, nonconsensual formats of moving image display, and – ultimately – a platform for alternative formats of civility”.

He is the author of many books and articles, and the editor of ‘Did Someone Say Participate’ (the Independent: “one of the ten best architecture books of all time”).
